EPTI sequence

EPTI sequences are freely available upon request at MGH-C2P Website or through the Siemens teamplay C2P exchange.

Available sequence versions:

  2D EPTI sequence:

• Sequence details: single-shot and multi-shot EPTI, 2D excitation, with SMS capability, 3T and 7T.

• Image contrast: multi-echo gradient echo (e.g., multi-echo fMRI), and/or spin-echo and asymmetric spin-echo (e.g., spin-echo fMRI, T2*/T2 mapping, DCE/DSC).

• Sequence software versions: Siemens 3T (VE11C) and 7T (VE12U) platforms. We will have updated sequence on XA platform as well as Pulseq in the future.

• Example protocols for different applications are provided in the C2P packages.

• Version note:

•     _v202309 (current version): Updated reconstruction with coil-by-coil shot-to-shot phase correction for multi-shot EPTI (better temporal stability). [up-to-date recon code]

•     _v202308 : Optimized reconstruction code for 3T GESE protocol 3 and 6, fixed minor bugs in GESE and EPTI-customized bart files.

•     _v202307 : Added 2 GESE protocols for 3T; updated reconstruction with shot-to-shot phase correction for multi-shot EPTI.

•     _v202306 : Initial version
