Positron Emission Tomography (PET) research at the Center enables sensitive, quantitative visualization of molecular and metabolic processes in living systems. Investigators develop advanced radiotracers, acquisition methods, and hybrid ET/MR approaches to measure metabolism, receptor binding, neuroinflammation, protein aggregation, and other biochemical pathways across neurological, cardiovascular, oncologic, and systemic diseases. By linking molecular signals to physiology and clinical outcomes, PET research supports early disease detection, precise characterization, and the evaluation of targeted therapies and therapeutic response.
