Neurological Disorders

Neurological disorders research at the Center advances understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of conditions affecting the brain and nervous system. Investigators use advanced MRI, PET, MEG/EEG, and multimodal imaging to study the structural, functional, metabolic, and molecular changes associated with disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, stroke, traumatic brain injury, and neurodevelopmental conditions. By identifying imaging biomarkers and tracking disease progression and treatment response, this work supports earlier detection, more precise monitoring, and the development of targeted, patient-centered therapies.
