Diana Wang is a sophomore at Harvard College where she is pursuing a concentration in Human Evolution Biology and a secondary in Social Anthropology. She is involved in Dr. Eve Valera’s lab at MGH that focuses on neuroimaging of traumatic brain injuries (TBIs) in domestically abused women and the neuropsychological sequelae of such violence. Currently, Diana is collaborating with Dr. Eve Valera and Julia Daugherty (Ph.D., University of Granada) to validate an effort test, the Coin in Hand-EV, to help validate neuropsychological findings that may be used in legal proceedings for women victims of interpersonal partner violence. This research is of special importance to her as she has grown up with personal connections of IPV and is overall interested in behavior health and its associations with socio-political issues.
